Amber was raised in the Shenandoah Valley and attended George Mason University to obtain her Master's Degree in Counseling and Development. She has experience assisting adults living with mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and PTSD. Amber also addresses concerns of low self-esteem, relationship issues, and more. Along with her trauma-informed care, she is trained and certified in the use of CBT, DBT, and CPT therapy modalities. Outside of therapy sessions, Amber enjoys reading, being outdoors, and watching the latest movie releases.
Katherine Hetrick, LCSW, is an experienced clinical social worker specializing in the treatment of individuals grappling with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, and Substance Use Disorder. With a Master's degree from George Mason University, Katherine employs a person-centered, strength-based approach to empower clients along their path to recovery. Trained in EMDR therapy and skilled in Motivational Interviewing and Harm Reduction, she is dedicated to helping clients learn new skills and achieve positive outcomes.
